Lac La Biche Birding Society
The Lac La Biche Region has over 150 lakes and over 230 species of birds inhabit the shorelines. Lac La Biche Lake was designated a bird sanctuary in 1920 and designated a Important Birding Area in 2001. Among bird species are the White Pelican, loons, 20 species of warblers, woodpeckers, long-eared owls, and much more.
