Lakeland Provincial Park offers many summer and winter activities including canoeing, hiking, cycling, cross-country skiing and ice-fishing. Birdwatching and wildlife observation are also very good at this location.
McArthur Park meanders along the shore of Lac La Biche Lake and features a lakefront walking trail and the town hall. The park is a popular spot for picnics and watching the birds and sunsets.
Established as a provincial park in 1952, this island is located directly on Lac La Biche Lake, near the town itself. Easily accessible via a 2.5 km long land bridge, this area offers visitors and residents a multitude of outdoor activities including cross country skiing, fishing, hiking and camping. The park, which is home to more than 200 bird species, is also one of the best birding locations in Alberta.
